Route 3: Big Shelby Loop
Tonight’s Route: 4.3 Miles
99% percent of the time we need you to run on the left side of the road against traffic, but sometimes we like to confuse you! Seriously, though, on this route it’s safer to run on the right side on Davidson Street in the park. When you make the right turn from Davidson to head up the Sevier/Naval hill, get back over to the left side of the road. Be sure to wear reflective/light gear – it gets pretty dark in that part of the park.

Route 5: Riverside 2.0
Tonight’s Route: 5.1 Miles
This update includes patches, bug fixes and improved user experience from the 1.0 version.
Safety notes: 99% percent of the time we need you to run on the left side of the road against traffic, but on this route there is one section in Shelby Park where that changes. After passing the lake, as you are going up the hill out of Shelby Park, stay on the RIGHT side of the road. Stay alert - the hill and curve in the road make it difficult to see, and be seen by, cars. When you reach the top, turn right and go under the train bridge, then turn left onto Riverside. Stay on the left side of Riverside in the bike lane. If cyclists are coming, channel your inner frogger.
Route 6: Little Hollywood
Tonight’s Route: 3.2 Miles
This route takes us through one of the coolest neighborhoods in East Nashville: Little Hollywood. Read it’s history here. After you pass Rosepepper Cantina, stay on the far left and stay single file over the bridge. Once you cross the gully, there will be a bike lane and then a sidewalk.
August 6th - Mow the Grassy Knoll

Route 7: Rick's Market 2.0
Tonight’s Route: 3.6 Miles
Please be careful at the corner of Lillian and 14th – cars tend to fly over the hill to your left and don’t have a stop sign. If you must run with headphones, keep one ear open. If you want to be talked out of headphones, ask Grant about it and he will get on his anti-headphone soapbox - guaranteed.
When we created this route way back in 2009 it really did run past a store called ‘Rick’s Market’ and it’s sign very proudly proclaimed “Coldest beer in town!”. But, like so many other things that have changed in our neighborhood this has too. Rick’s is now home to Roy’s Meat Service – a great neighborhood butcher shop.
Route 8: 5 Parks
Tonight’s Route: 4 miles
East Nashville has a love for family and outdoor activities. This 4 mile route highlights all 5 parks in Historic East Nashville.

Route 10: Electric Slide
Tonight’s Route: 4 miles
It’s Electric! Climb out of Shelby Park on Electric Ave on this hilly route. Take extra care when crossing 14th from Sevier - cars cruise over that hill faster than green grass through a goose. After you cross, run on the sidewalk on the right. Then, you have the privilege of climbing that beast of a hill on Lenore. Some say it’s harder than Mount Nasty!
